Hi Radsafers,

Bob Flood said:

People objected, a court decided the attempt circumvented the established
rulemaking procedures, and that led the NRC to develop a revision of
10CFR20 that added most of the respiratory protection stuff in the version
before the 1/1/94 overhaul.

Clear as mud?

Hey,
maybe we should have done that when the NRC shoved the Policy and Guidance
Directive, FC 86-4; Revision 1, Information Required For Licensing Remote
Afterloading Devices, down our throats during the license renewal process! I
had a hard time swallowing that one and it still gives me indigestion!
