August 25, 1997 issue of C&EN (page 11), "... power needs will be met
by greater dependence on fossil fuel plants, according to utility
officials. The contribution of these mostly coal-fired plants will jump
from 15% to 25%, angering Canadian and U.S. environmentalists." M. Jo
