Unfortunately, the "greens" are not going to let up. Some faction of the
environmental movement is opposed to anything you can think of. They shred
the idea of nuclear, but deplore increasing use of fossils as a
replacement. Some are opposed hydro development (loss of habitat for
critters other than us), some want the wind farms in California shut down
(they harm birds), others have the sense to understand the horrible toxic
mess created by manufacturing solar voltaics and oppose them. It seems a
complete abandonment of the use of electricity is the only comprehensive
solution!
