Personal Contamination Goals

In regard to comments about contamination goals:

We have established a goal of <2.5 contaminations/10,000 RWP hrs. The goal is
qualified, in that we only include 'worker avoidable' contaminations as
relevant to the goal. Worker avoidable causes are normally related to poor work
practices. Non-worker avoidable causes include such incidents as foot
contaminations inadvertantly received by the worker while traversing a clean
area in the plant or 'planned' contaminations which are evaluated ahead of time
by the TEDE ALARA process.

We track all contaminations and use the diagonostic capability such trending
provides. It takes very little time and provides a good indicator of overall
performance in an area which impacts HP resources.
