RE: The Health Physics Profession

I have seen degreed students with a degree in biology called health
physicists.  I have seen engineers called health physicists.  I have
seen physicists called industrial hygienists.  I have seen degreed
health physicists called bioenvironmental engineers.  Regardless of the
degree or title, the one thing common to all of them is the one thing
which should keep anyone else from being called 'Health Physicist" or
"Industrial Hygienist" and that is experience.
I am pursuing a degree to further my knowledge base, but from what I
have so far seen, I am not learning a whole lot of new things.  If  only
to 

Sorry, but in my opinion, in this field a degree only means you are more
likely to be trainable than someone who is not.
