Re: DEGREE REQUIREMENT

Those who rely on a "Degree" as one of the focal requirements for
hiring, assigning accountabilities or allowing one to test, have
simply delegated away their need to assess, evaluate, compare,
determine or make a decision It's the easy way out. No degree, the
person is obvioulsy not qualified .. PERIOD! Pure fantasy, bunk and
unequivocably, dead wrong.

We all need to take a step back .. and reassess what we're talking
about here. we're addressing who should be able to sit and take the
CHP exam. Somehow this has digressed to medical exams, engineering
requirements, etc. The bottom line should be, is the individual
experienced, having worked as a health physicist, do they have the
proper referenences (how about requiring a reference from a CHP, if
not already). Let the individual fall upon their own merits, and not
some assumption that a degree makes a better person. Anyone want to
quibble or take aim at Steve's credentials? Not I!!!!

Everyone needs to get off their degree pedestal, and start assessing
the individual, on, an individual basis. Stop playing the "label
game".
