ORMUG 1997 Workshop

     Dear Radsafe Subscribers,
     
     The Ohio Radioactive Materials Users Group (ORMUG) will be holding 
     it's 1997 workshop on November 5, 1997 at the Ramada University 
     Hotel and Conference Center in Columbus, Ohio.  All Radsafers are 
     cordially invited to attend. Additional detail and registration

     Continuing the format of recent years, there will be two concurrent 
     sessions.  The General Session has as it's topic "Agreement State - 
     Concepts, Realities, and Progress".  The Continuing Education Session 
     covers "NRC/DOT Mandated HAZMAT Training".  The AM sessions will be 
     seminar/speaker format followed by round-table forums in the 
     afternoon.
     
     Speakers include: Robert Hallisey - Director, Massachusetts Radiation 
     Control Program, Roger Suppes - Chief, Ohio Bureau of Radiation 
     Protection, Brad Keck - Senior Scientist and RSO, Proctor & Gamble, 
     and Theodore Myers - Director of Nuclear Assurance, Davis-Besse.
     
     A luncheon is provided and discount rates are available at the Ramada 
     University Hotel and Conference Center.  The CE Session is accredited 
     by the State of Ohio and by ASRT for 3 CEUs. The General Session is 
     accredited by ABIH for 1 CM point and by AAHP for 4 Units.
