Subject: Job Openings; San Onofre Nucl. Gen. Sta.
San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station has two openings for health
physics engineers. Both positions require a Bachelor's degree in
health physics or a closely related field. One position requires five
or more years professional experience and the other position requires
eight or more years professional experience and ABHP Certification or
a California Professional Engineer's license.
The positions are in the line organization and are in support of an
operating PWR power reactor facility. Broad knowledge is desired of
10CFR20, 10CFR61, 10CFR71, 40CFR, industry standards, power plant
ALARA, dosimetry, instrumentation, self-assessment and radwaste
programs.
