Re: Tritium Watch



Although I'm not familiar the specific tritium watch you mention,
historically various radioactive materials in a number of forms have been
utilized for this type of self-luminous application.
Current practice is to incorporate  the radioactive material (tritium gas)
and phosphors in so called "sealed sources", in tiny glass vials.  Recent
improvements in manufacture have reduced the amt. of tritium to ~ 200 mCi
(7.4 GBq).
