Question for Electronic Dosimetry Users

       Hello Radsafers,

       The following questions are directed to users of alarming
       dosimeters:

       1.  If the digital alarming dosimeter is capable of displaying
       dose rate,
            do you disable this feature?

       2. If your dosimeter displays dose rate, do you have any
       administrative controls
           to prevent  the worker from using the device as a dose rate
       meter? (that is, placing
           the dosimeter close to a source to determine dose rate,
       instead of using it only as a
           personnel monitoring device).

       3.  How did you justify your decision to use or not to use the
       dose rate display feature?
