Floor Coatings

Dear Radsafers,

I am searching for a brand name and a vendor for an industrial strength
coating for concrete floors. The coating should be resistant to strong
chemicals (ph of 1.5 to 13.0) and industrial machinery, and require
little or no maintenance. The area to be sealed is about 8,000 square
feet and I would prefer that there are no seams in the coating.

At a previous employor, we used a product made by Gliddon. I believe it
was epoxy based and I think it cost about $100 per gallon and had to be
installed by specialists. After three years of incredible abuse, it
looked brand new.

I would like to hear from someone in the nuclear power community, since
the coatings on the floors of the machinery rooms should fit my needs.
In addition, if someone has recently built a hazardous waste storage
room at their facility, I would be interested in hearing about what
product you selected.

If anyone has any good (or bad) experiences with these coatings, please
contact me directly.

	Thanks for your help.
