rad tech survey results
Thank you to all to responded to my request for information on the
classification of radiation safety technicians at biotechnology and
university settings.
Of the 29 responses:
22 indicated non-exempt (hourly)
5 indicated exempt (salaried)
1 indicated that technicians were non-exempt but the supervisory
technician was exempt
1 indicated that at NPPs and in DOE all technicians are non-exempt
Of the 22 who indicated non-exempt, 3 mentioned that they were also
unionized.
This information will be very useful to our Human Resources Department.
