need advice on safety of well logging devices

This the first time I make a requset of more help I need in the safety
of utilizing radiation sources in the industry of well logging of the oil
exploration.  

I will be making a presentation on the radiation safety side of using the 
well logging devices.  Any input from you will very much appreciated.
