MSDS info

Material Safety  Data Sheets are required pursuant to 29 CFR 1910.1200 -
Hazard  Communication.     29 CFR 1910.1200(b)(6)(xi)  under  Scope  and
Application  states:  This  section  does  not  apply  to  ionizing  and
nonionizing  radiation;...         29 CFR 1910.1200(g)   addresses   the
preparation  of   Material  Safety   Data   Sheets.      Section   means
29 CFR 1910.1200, therefore Material Safety Data Sheets are not required
because of ionizing radiation hazards.
 
If the  radioactive material  presents hazardous  characteristics  other
than ionizing radiation they must be addressed individually.
 
Obviously if  radiological information  is provided  on an  MSDS then  I
certainly would hope that it would be correct and factual.
