small quantity shipment
As Mr. Pratt points out, using 173.4 as a basis for shipment has minus's
as well as plus's.
+ all of the shipping requirents are on that one page.
+ very comprehensive exclusion of the rest of the rules.
- a new set of packaging requirements (materials, closure, etc)
- a new set of testing requirements (different from IP and Type A)
- a weight limit (different from others used in the rules)
- an added package marking requirement
In summary, it might be a useful option but beware of the different
requirements.
