There are many ways to look at the "toxicity elephant" - some are meaningful,
some are less than meaningful.

When you compare the DACs, remember that you are looking at the dose per unit
ACTIVITY inhaled.   In many cases (particularly when you have VAST differences
in the specific activity of the material) it is more meaningful to look at the
dose per unit MASS inhaled.   Try this with Pu-239 and Th-232, and you will
why the former is handled in gloveboxes, while the latter is not.
