Montel Williams Show

I have just finished watching the video tape of today's Montel Williams TV
show. What a downer! The program was based on the assumption that childhood
cancers on Long Island have been caused by emissions of radiative waste
from Brookhaven National Laboratory. The actor Alec Baldwin was the special
guest presenting this information.

I need to take some time this weekend to list the numerous claims about
Brookhaven that were presented on the show. The sight of so many children
on chemotherapy was sad. Several family tragedies were presented and blamed
on Brookhaven. One sick child said he got his cancer from drinking the
water on Long Island. He said that a cancer specialist at the University of
Pittsburgh told him that his type of sarcoma was only caused by exposure to
low levels of radiation. Helen Caldicott, M.D., was there to confirm the
severe dangers of past Brookhaven emissions. 

We cannot ignore this show! If we don't rebut the claims, people will
assume they are true.
