Julian makes some good observations. I would only add that do we not 
have a lot of data already, that covers decades? Specifically, 
Hiroshima, 1950 testing, laboratory workers and a very large 
population of power reactor workers. Yes, power reactor worker low 
incidence of cancers can be discarded by those imposing the "healthy 
worker effect" .. but the reality is, there isn't this mass of 
evidence pointing to a statistical relationship.

Yes, some studies are good, and do follow accepted  scientific 
protocol. The dowside is, there is always another study that refutes 
the evidence and conclusions reported. Reminds me of all of the 
so-called experts who testify for and against scientific data in a 
criminal trial. All depends on which side of the case you're 
testifying for, and, what is the hidden agenda being pushed.
