Rad. Engineering Training Programs/Courses -Reply

Dave,

The readily available programs are graduate school programs, such as the
University of Maryland program in nuclear engineering and the Georgetown
University program in health physics. Also there are courses to prepare health
physicists for the Certification examinations; there are short courses such as that
offered by Ray Johnson (radtrain@aol.com) and the Baltimore-Washington Chapter
5-month course (for resident and correspondence students)
(fred.ferate@rspa.dot.gov).

If you need something more specialized, I believe it comes down to the old story:
ask and thou shalt receive --- if thou wilst pay. There are a several organizations
that could provide the training if you provide the demand.
