According to one official, the level of alpha particles in the water was as
much as three times background levels.  "As soon as we turned on the tap,
our sink filled up with photons", claimed one Upton resident. "It really
scared the kids."  Helen Caldicott immediately called for a ban on water, as
well as on hydrogen and oxygen.

Can no single journalist in the country distinguish between these two
clearly distinct words?  Sorry, Stabin Soapbox signing off...
