Health Physics Society 1999 Symposium Call For Papers
The Rio Grande Chapter of the Health Physics Society is hosting the 1999
Health Physics Society Midyear Symposium January 24-27, 1999, at the
DoubleTree Hotel and Albuquerque Convention Center.
The topics are: Creation and Future Legacy of Stockpile Stewardship &
Isotope Production, Applications, and Consumption
The program will consist of both oral and poster sessions. Authors of
poster sessions will have the opportunity to introduce their work during
oral sessions. Each session will include both invited and contributed
papers. ABSTRACTS MUST BE POSTMARKED BY FRIDAY, JUNE 5, 1998.
Input for the technical sessions is expected to represent all areas
involved in nuclear materials management, stockpile stewardship, and
industrial/medical isotope applications.. These will include topics from
authors at Medical Facilities, Power Reactors, Accelerators, Government
Facilities, Universities, and Private Sector Health Physics programs. All
sessions will be unclassified. A detailed topics list is available at

Proceedings of this meeting will be published and distributed at the time
of the meeting. Manuscripts from both the oral and poster presentations
will be included in the publication. Instructions for preparation of
manuscripts will be mailed with a letter of acceptance. Completed
manuscripts must be received by Friday, October 9, 1998.
