Dr. Luckey's 1991 book, "Radiation Hormesis" states "... and 7 to 480 mGy/year in Ramasari, a town of 2000 people in Iran." There was also an international conference on high levels of natural radiation at Ramsar, India in 1990. The similarity in place names may have lent a little confusion to my original question. Sorry.
