NSSI provides mercury recycling/disposal services in addition to rad waste
and mixed waste services.  Service for non rad mercury METAL are available
in many other places also -- this is a regional issue where transportation
cost is also a factor.  I can advise regarding commercial choices outside
of radsafe.

Note that mercury salts are a very different matter.  Very few companies
can handle the compounds either by permit or with their existing equipment.
 Radioactive mercury waste is mixed waste.  NSSI has unique permitting in
that area, particularly for total mercury above 260 ppm.
