HEALTH PHYSICIST

Bechtel Nevada, a prime contractor to the U.S. Department of Energy, has immediate openings for Health Physicists at the Nevada Test Site. This position would provide Health Physics support to environmental restoration projects. Duties would include providing Health Physics support for field operations, which may include preparation Safety & Health Plans, Sampling Plans, Bioassay Plans, and daily oversight of Health Physics aspects of various projects.

Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Health Physics or related discipline, or equivalent training and experience, plus a minimum of three years experience in Radiological Safety.  Advanced degrees and/or progression toward certification (CHP) are desired and may be substituted for experience requirement. Strong written and oral communication skills are required.

Salary range is $38,040 (annual minimum) through $51,360 (annual midpoint).
