A physics group in the Phoenix area is seeking a health/medical
physicist.  
The group provides physics support to hospitals and industrial users of 
radioactive materials and radiation producing equipment in the Southwest
US.
The firm also operates a low level radiochemistry laboratory and has a
small
research program in radiochemistry and cadmium zinc telluride solid
state 
detectors.  The job entails performance of physics surveys of diagnostic
x-ray units to meet JCAHO and MQSA standards as well as teaching and 
physics support for Nuclear Medicine.

Applicants must have a minimum of a Masters degree in Nuclear
Engineering,
Physics, or Health/Medical Physics.  Experience with diagnostic x-ray
units
is beneficial.  Starting pay $41,000 per year plus benefits and profit
