Re: posting requirements



ANSI Standard 2.1 (Radiation Symbol) specifies that the 
symbol should be used to signify the actual or potential 
presence of ionizing radiation.  It also states that the 
symbol may be used for illustrative purposes in educational 
or informational material, but it is not to be used for 
decorative purposes or in a manner that will cause confusion 
about the presence of ionizing radiation.  I would think that 
use of the symbol to deter vandalism would fall into this 
latter category.
