Re: Accuracy of GPS with respect to surveys
We have been doing GPS-based radiological surveys (with differential
correction) for about 4 years now. The standard deviation of the position
coordinates is around 0.3 meter. The accuracy is attained through
differential correction using a known base station location or through beaming
in the correction signal from a commercial or government base station for the
work area.
