Regarding NIRS:
NIRS mailed to me a copy of a study done by one of their staff. It was what we might call a "back of the 
envelope" style calculation, obviously not reviewed because it had spelling and math errors. 
NIRS gets alot of mileage out of bits of industry information and their trips to Europe to watch the German 
protestors. They work on the public's perception, and should be treated as the Washington lobby that they are.
