Lifespan statistics -Reply



Mike,

I doubt that any such statistics will be very accurate but they are available. 
Standard references, e.g. the World Almanac, give country by country death rates
and life expectancy at birth values.  From that you could calculate a population
weighted average for the world with a little effort.  Alternately, use the numbers for
India and China and ignore the rest of the world.  The World Health Organization
might have the weighted average for the world, for whatever value it would have.
