While i have no general disagreement with your comments, there is one
serious mistake.

RADSAFE does not really represent the "health physics" community, and it
certainly does not represent the "radiation science" community.

If you need an fast answer to a "radiation safety" question, RADSAFE is a
great place to turn.  But if you want an answer to a radiation biology
question, then you may or may not get accurate responses.  If you want to
know what the "radiation community" thinks about something, then RadSafe
may give you nothing more than the extreme views. 

Also, it appears that RADSAFE, as opposed to its members, has a very poor
memory (:
