There is a current study that is about to be wrapped up on thyroid 
morbidity based on exposure to releases of I-131 from Hanford from 1944 
through 1956. It is being conducted under a CDC contract by the Fred 
Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle. I believe their results are 
supposed to be out this fall. A lot of their protocols and status reports 
are already out in the public domain.
