Mac Y2K issue

The Macintosh OS is Y2K compliant, but do not assume that the software
runnning on it is. We use several database systems on Macs in our
office, one required an upgrade to the database engine to become
compliant, another required direct programming and a data update.

Macs have fewer issues since the Mac OS 7.x was not designed to be
backwards compatible for Mac OS 6.x programs.
