decommissioning measurements

Dear Radsafer,
I am looking for some information about monitoring systems used 
to measure plant pieces (pipes and other stuffs) from a 
decommissioning nuclear power plant.
Plant pieces will be dismantled, cutted and decontaminated.
Is there any one in the list that have some experience in this kind 
of measurement, or can tell me where I can find some information?
I have already contacted all monitoring device producers I know 
(Canberra, Ludlum, Eberline, Bicron, etc.), but I wish to have further 
information directly from people that worked on this subject.
