Re[2]: Leukemia in Astronauts




     Sandy makes an excellent point.  Some years ago I heard Rosalie 
     Bertell(!) talk about the old Tri-State Leukemia Survay.  She had some 
     nice graphs showing that the primary correlating factor for 
     adult-onset (after age 15) leukemia is age itself -- the correlation 
     looks almost exponential.
     
     Clearly only my own opinion

No, we don't. The man died at 74 .... We should all live that long! 
Perhaps we should consider the city he lived in, the food he ate, 
the people he associated with, the type of car he drove, the amount 
of sex he had .. all could be considered causal effects.
