RE: Short lived waste
, I would suggest disposing of it through a firm that is licensed to handle such waste. The cost, when all things are taken into consideration is really pretty reasonable.

>From my "past life" at a hospital setting I can tell you that if you are in the same boat that we were in, contracting for disposal of short lived waste probably should be your last option if you have the conditions in your license to do decay in storage and the "political clout" to acquire an area to store it. If you are thinking about contracting for disposal, you may want to consider how much waste you actually generate and how often you would be needing disposal. Compare that to how much it would cost to decay in place. Just food for thought.
