Sorry to say that, but you can find the answer to your question in any
textbook and in any tables of radionuclides, you just have to search for
it. I admit that this takes some time, but this might get you acquainted
with some basic scientific concepts and might help you to learn how to find
facts about radionuclides etc. I do not know, what you expect to "be easily
detected with a Ludlum model 3", but this shows that you obviously are not
acquainted with the most simple knowledge of radiation detection. Or can
you explain to me how you want to identify unknown beta-emitters with your
"Ludlum model 3"? Is it a beta-spectroscopic unit?

I am confronted more and more by questions how to measure the most tricky
beta- and alpha- emitting radionulides with the most simple equipment. This
is not possible. These radionuclides (with exception of tritium in water)
have to be measured after labour and time intensive isolation of the
radionuclides by radiochemical methods

There are of course some possibilities to estimate the concentration of
various alpha- and beta- emitters, whether they comply with regulations.
But this is mostly not nuclide specific. If this is your concern, then I
suggest that you contact me at my private e-mail.

According to your e-mail address you work for Sandia - I would believe that
quite a lot of people could give you a good answer to your question.

Best regards,

Franz
