Atmospheric testing in the U. S, stopped in 1962 or 1963.

Clearly only my own opinion.

Can anybody tell, when the a t m o s p h e r i c bomb test series in
Nevada were stopped? I cannot believe, that in the 60's any such tests were
conducted in the US. The fate of the Marshall Islands is well known, but I
do not believe that the inhabitants there are regarded as Americans. As
well it should not be forgotten, that Europa and especially Scandinavia was
heavily affected by the Sovjet tests. Could anybody provide figures or at
least direct me to relevant literature on I-131? I have access to a lot of
data in Austria, but they are usually in terms of "gross alpha", "gross
beta" or "gross alpha+beta", which are of no use of course to estimate the
I-131 concentrations.
