Re: Landauer's New Badge

We struck this problem in Australia some time ago when we swapped from a
film badge service (lower limit of 20 mrem, 200 uSv) to TLD (lower limit of
1 mrem, 10 uSv).

A substantial education program was necessary to allay the fears of
individuals who had previously recorded zero on every badge. After about
12 months everyone got used to the new detection limit and I haven't had
problems since.
