RE: Landauer's New Badge



Monitoring requirements are at 10% of the limits.  If someone is
expected to receive 5,000 mrem SDE/500 mrem WB, you are required to
monitor.

For extremity monitoring, the AlO sensitivity doesn't seem warranted
compared to TLDs, especially if it drives up the cost/unit.

If people continuously receive "m" on their reports, it sounds like they
aren't required to be monitored.

If one is using a monthly badge to validate <100 mrem direct radiation
to the public, you may have lost the 100 mrem in 12 months worth of
'"m."  This looks more like an application for AlO powder.
