Activists Call For Early Plant Closure - (BRATTLEBORO) -- Anti-
nuclear activists are repeating a call for an early
shutdown of the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Plant. Yesterday, 
Micheal Daley with New England Coalition on Nuclear
Pollution told a state Department of Public Service hearing keeping 
the plant open costs twice as much as buying power on the
market. He says the savings could be reinvested into the state's 
economy.
