article, might wish to look at:

"Revised Nuclear Regulatory Commission Regulations for Release of
Patients Administered Radioactive Materials: Outpatient Iodine-131
Anti-B1 Therapy" found in the JNM Supplement on I-131 Anti B-1 Therapy:
Volume 39, Number 8 (Supplement), August 1998; pages 28S-33S.

The discussion, while specific to Anti-B1, can be easily applied to many
similar patient release determinations under the new NRC regulations.
