Xe133 v.s. Tc99mDTPA for ventilation

Hi all,

Our Nuclear Medicine department uses Xe133 gas for lung ventilation. They like
to switch to Tc99m DTPA aerosol. They plan to use Mallinckrodt nebulizer. Can
someone give me the insight on their experience concerning contamination,
accidental spill, personnel exposure and waste handling? Any feedback on
clinical pros and cons will be very much appreciated.

Thanks,
