My experience with dry cleaning is rather dated (1983), but I suspect the 
process hasn't changed that much so here goes.

1)  You would probably be using a type of freon.  You should be very sure 
that you are not generating any hazardous wastes from the freon or the 
sludge that is generated during the process.  If there are hazardous 
wastes, then by putting radioactivity into it, you would be creating a 
mixed hazardous waste, which is against regulations.

2)  The process generally works well.  However, after about 30-50 
cleanings, there is a tendency for a residue to build up in the clothing 
that is very irritating to the skin of some individuals.  What we started 
to do was periodically ship the PCs out to a commercial nuclear laundry 
vendor for a water wash.  The water wash dissolves the residues, and the 
irritation is greatly reduced.

3)  Some operations have had problems with odor in the clothing.  We used a 
dry cleaning addititive that seemed to keep this in check.

4)  Your operators need to be trained in how to respond to freon spills. 
 The first reaction is to grab a wet vac and clean it up.  (The freon of 
course instantly vaporizes, settles to the floor, and displaces the oxygen 
in the room--it can be VERY dangerous).
