Re: NRC scraps commercial nuclear power terrorism program



As far as I've heard, the actual number of deaths attributable to Chernobyl to 
date is in the low thirties.  How does a number like 125,000 get published as 
fact by the AP?   Is Michael Mokrzycki still on RadSafe?  Maybe he can shed some
light on how this happens.

No wonder we have problems with credibility with the public.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - 
     
The program was designed to prevent someone from causing the 
devastation seen at the Chernobyl nuclear power station in Ukraine 
in 1986. An accidental meltdown of a reactor core led to at least 
125,000 deaths.
