Re: research reactor non-risk



Something else not mentioned is that this reactor is expected to supply
radiopharmaceuticals for Australia and much of SE Asia for many years.  The
current reactor fills this role at present.  To the best of my knowledge,
there are few other reactors in the area with this capability (and no other
reactors in Australia).  Cancellation of this project, then would likely
result in substantially higher patient/insurance costs and might negatively
impact general health, as well.
