Donald,

You're right it was a general statement.  I responded only to alert others to the possibility of this kind of stipulation. I personally do not transport RAM in my car so I have not investigated this issue in-depth.  My advise to anyone thinking of transporting RAM in their car would be to carefully look at their auto insurance policy to see if it includes any "fine print" stipulations and applicable definitions.
