There was some confusion about the last message.  This is a correction. Please

The golf tournament listed below is the same tournament advertised in the HP
Newsletter.  If you signed up earlier and sent in a registration fee of
$35.00, you will be reimbursed. Unforeseen circumstances necessitated a 9
hole tournament.  Hope to see you there!

Golf in New Mexico!  The Rio Grande Chapter of the Health Physics Society is
sponsoring a 9-hole Golf Tournament on Sunday, Jan 24, 1999 at the Arroyo
del Oso Golf Course in Albuquerque, NM.  Lunch will be served from
11:30-12:30.  Tee times are from 1:00-1:30.  The format is a four person
scramble.  There are still several slots available.  You may sign up as a
team or individually and we will team you up. Cost for the tournament is
$15.00 per person.  The registration fee includes lunch, green fees, a
bucket of balls and a cart. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd& 4th
place as well as a closest to the pin and long drive contest.
If you have previously signed up and paid a higher registration fee, you
will be reimbursed the difference.
