   Krypton-85 can certainly be counted in liquid scintillation cocktail.  That
method has been used for a number of years for Kr-85 in air.   Water is a
little different though, in that the Kr-85 would have to be present in
concentrations that are quite high in order for the water to be counted
directly, without any pre-concentration.  When Kr-85 is present in air,
concentrating it into a small volume is relatively easy.
