Outdoor Radon Abstract Online

Radsafers:

Listserv members may find the article in the February 1999 issue of the
Journal, Environmental Health Perspectives of interest. The article describes
the outdoor radon concentrations in IA and areas of MN. It is noteworthy that
the radon concentrations in some outdoor areas of Iowa exceed the national
indoor average radon concentration for single family homes. The importance of
considering outdoor radon exposure in the framework of an epidemiologic case-
control study is discussed.
