What is the evidence that DDT is toxic to humans? About a billion
people were exposed to heavy doses of DDT -- inmates of concentration
camps uopn release, people in India and Africa in malaria control
programs, etc -- and no toxic effects were found. DDT was banned because
it was supposedly harmful to falcons by thinning their egg shells, not
because of any harm to human health.
